Young Artist Shruti Agalave Receives ‘B.M. Pathak Best Artwork Award’ in Pune

Pune : Young artist Shruti Dadarav Agalave from Arali Budruk in Tuljapur taluka was honoured with the prestigious “B.M. Pathak Best Artwork Award” at a three-day art exhibition held at Balgandharva Kalamandir.

The award was presented during the annual art exhibition for the academic year 2025–2026, organised by Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya under the Indian Art Promotion initiative. The event was attended by Principal Vilas Chormale, Principal Rahul Balwant, and Head of Drawing and Painting Department Satish Kale.

Shruti showcased a total of 11 artworks at the exhibition, many of which were inspired by Pune’s rich cultural heritage. Her creativity and artistic excellence earned her the top honour at the event.

She has been guided by Principal Dr. Sanjay Bharti and art teacher Dr. Sameer Agale, whose mentorship played a key role in her achievement.

Shruti Agalave’s accomplishment has been widely appreciated, with congratulations pouring in from across the community, marking a proud moment for her hometown and the region’s emerging art scene.
