Pune : A growing number of engineering graduates in Pune are facing uncertainty after receiving job offers from IT companies but not getting joining dates even months later.

According to the Forum for IT Employees, complaints about delayed onboarding are increasing daily. In one case, students selected in March 2025 through campus placements at a company in Hinjawadi IT Park are still waiting for updates.

Despite receiving offer letters, many candidates have not received any clear communication about their joining, causing financial and emotional stress for them and their families.

The forum has urged companies to clarify timelines and provide relief to affected students. Experts say that while the IT sector slowdown is a factor, companies must be transparent to maintain trust in campus placements.
