Sanjay Patni Appointed BJP General Secretary in Pimpri-Chinchwad

– Patni says strengthening party organisation and addressing citizens’ issues will be priorities

Pimpri-Chinchwad : Sanjay Patni has been appointed general secretary of the BJP’s Pimpri-Chinchwad city district unit. City president Shatrughna Kate handed over his appointment letter. Patni has earlier served as the party’s publicity chief and senior vice-president.

Patni has been associated with MLA Mahesh Landge’s social and political activities for around two decades and has been involved in various organisational programmes. He also has outreach among Rajasthani, Marwari and Hindi-speaking communities in the city, according to the party-related reports.

Following his appointment, Patni thanked the party leadership, Landge, Kate and fellow workers. He said his priorities would include strengthening the party organisation, increasing dialogue with different sections of society and working on citizens’ issues.

Landge welcomed the appointment and said Patni’s organisational experience and public outreach would contribute to the party’s work in the city.
