DJ equipment to be seized, cases filed for violating prescribed sound limits

Pimpri : With Ganeshotsav approaching, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police have adopted a strict stand against noise pollution and warned Ganesh mandals of criminal action for violating prescribed sound limits.

Police said that if DJ systems exceed the permitted noise levels, action will be taken against the mandal president, office-bearers, DJ owner and vehicle driver. DJ systems, mixers, loudspeakers and related equipment will also be seized.
