Hinjewadi Infrastructure Issues to Be Taken Up With State Government : Shankar Jagtap
- BJP MLA Assures Follow-Up on Traffic Congestion, Poor Roads and Commuting Difficulties Faced by Residents and IT Employees
Pimpri : The peaceful agitation over Hinjewadi’s worsening infrastructure problems received political support on Sunday as BJP MLA Shankar Jagtap visited the protest site and interacted with residents and IT professionals. The agitation has brought renewed attention to traffic congestion, poor road conditions and the lack of adequate civic infrastructure in one of Maharashtra’s key IT hubs.
During his interaction with protesters, residents and IT employees raised concerns over daily traffic jams, deteriorating roads and difficulties faced during their commute. They also submitted a memorandum outlining their demands and seeking immediate intervention from the authorities.
Jagtap said that the infrastructure concerns raised by Hinjewadi residents and daily commuters will be taken up with the Maharashtra government. He said efforts would focus on addressing traffic congestion, improving road conditions and ensuring better infrastructure and commuting facilities in the area. Jagtap added that he would follow up on the issues with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
