MLC Amit Gorkhe Meets Family of Shilpa Gaware, Seeks Fast-Track Justice

– CM Devendra Fadnavis assures necessary steps to ensure speedy justice in Wakad case

Pimpri : MLC Amit Gorkhe visited the residence of Santosh Kalate, brother of Shilpa Sachin Gaware, in Wakad and met the bereaved family to offer his condolences following Shilpa Gaware’s death.

During the visit, Gorkhe, along with BJP corporator Sneha Kalate, spoke to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis over the phone and apprised him of the developments in the case. The Chief Minister took serious note of the matter and assured that necessary efforts would be made to ensure that the case is heard on a fast-track basis and that the victim’s family receives justice at the earliest.

According to the family, Shilpa Gaware was allegedly subjected to physical and mental harassment over her share in her maternal family’s property and issues related to property documents.

A case has been registered at Wakad Police Station against her husband Sachin Gaware, father-in-law Uttam Gaware, mother-in-law Sanjivani Gaware and brother-in-law Sandeep Gaware. The accused have been arrested in connection with the case.

The family has expressed relief over the intervention by MLC Amit Gorkhe, particularly his efforts to ensure that both the police investigation and judicial proceedings move forward without delay.

Gorkhe said efforts would be made to ensure that the family receives justice and that the matter is pursued seriously with the concerned authorities.
