Meeting to Be Held for Housing Project Beneficiaries’ Concessions : Anna Bansode

Pimpri : Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Anna Bansode has assured that a meeting will soon be organised to discuss the waiver of stamp duty and provision of PMAY subsidy for beneficiaries of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s housing project at Kiwale.

The housing project at Ravet was cancelled, following which homes are being provided to economically weaker section (EWS) beneficiaries under the housing scheme at Kiwale. However, beneficiaries have been facing various difficulties for several years.

A delegation of the Kashtakari Sangharsh Mahasangh, led by its president Kashinath Nakhate, along with beneficiaries and office-bearers, met Bansode at his office in the Maharashtra Legislature in Mumbai and submitted a memorandum.

The delegation demanded a waiver of stamp duty and financial assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) for eligible beneficiaries.

After hearing their concerns, Bansode assured the delegation that he would pursue the matter with the concerned authorities and arrange a meeting soon to find a solution in the interest of the beneficiaries.

Labour leader Kashinath Nakhate, Rajesh Mane, Salim Dange, Sakharam Kedar, Amrut Patil, Angad Mungale, Sunita Kawale, Suman Sathe, Manisha Ghodke, Roshni Sardar and Vishnu Mane were present.
