PCMC Demolishes Illegal Constructions in Kudalwadi and Jadhavwadi

Pimpri : Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation carried out a demolition drive against illegal constructions in Chikhali, Kudalwadi and Jadhavwadi areas under the jurisdiction of the ‘C’ ward office on Sunday. During the action, unauthorized structures spread across 4,336.28 square feet were removed.

The civic body demolished illegal tin sheds, brick structures and RCC constructions at multiple locations, including Survey No. 700 near Visava Chowk to Police Chowky Road in Kudalwadi, areas along Jadhavwadi Road, near Kudalwadi Police Chowky, and Savata Mali Mandir Road in Jadhavwadi.

A large team comprising officials from the building permission department, civic staff, police personnel, and around 218 MSF staff participated in the drive. Heavy machinery, including 10 Poklen machines, 10 JCBs, fire brigade vehicles, ambulances and labourers, were deployed for the operation.

Commissioner Vijay Suryavanshi appealed to citizens not to undertake illegal constructions and warned that strict action against unauthorized structures will continue in the future.
