Annual passenger traffic at Pune airport up 37% in ’23

Pune: For at least four times last year, Kharadi resident and frequent flyer Atul Gosawi was stuck in long queues at the airport while flying to and from the city.

The high passenger traffic being recorded at the airport facility holds no value to him.

“The crowd only increases the hassles. In facilities like Delhi or Mumbai, it feels good to see a large number of travellers — but not in Pune,” the businessman told TheLeaderNews.

Last year, Pune airport recorded 37% more passenger traffic than 2022.
