Grand Kalbhairavnath-Jogeshwari Wedding Tableau to Be Presented in Thergaon
- Devotees invited to experience the devotional celebration from 6 pm to midnight on Friday
Pimpri: Devotees in Thergaon will get an opportunity to witness a grand mythological live tableau depicting the wedding ceremony of Lord Kalbhairavnath and Goddess Jogeshwari during this year’s Ganesh Visarjan celebrations.
The special religious and cultural programme has been organised by Vandev Anandvan Mitra Mandal, Thergaon, founded by Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Standing Committee Chairman Abhishek Barne. Barne has appealed to maximum citizens to participate in the programme and experience the special presentation.
The event will be held on Friday, September 25, from 6 pm to midnight at Late Moru Mahadu Barne Kridangan, Vandev Nagar, Anandvan Society, Thergaon. The mythological live tableau portraying the wedding ceremony of Lord Kalbhairavnath and Goddess Jogeshwari will be the main attraction of the celebrations.
The organisers said the tableau has been planned to provide citizens with an opportunity to experience religious traditions, mythology and cultural presentation in the devotional atmosphere of Ganeshotsav, the organiser said.
The programme is expected to be a special attraction for devotees during the Ganesh Visarjan celebrations. Abhishek Barne has appealed to all residents of the ward to participate in the devotional programme with their families and enjoy the grand tableau.
Special Attraction at Ganesh Visarjan
As part of the grand traditional Ganesh Visarjan ceremony organised by Vandev Anandvan Mitra Mandal, devotees will get an opportunity to witness a celebration blending devotion, tradition, culture and entertainment. Popular actress Snehalata Maghade, Priyanka Jadhav, Purniemaa Dey and Urmila Kanetkar will make a special appearance at the event, adding to the festive spirit. Devotees and residents are invited to participate in the celebrations with their families and make the traditional Visarjan ceremony a memorable occasion.
