Four-Day Akhand Harinam Saptah to be Organised in Pimpri-Chinchwad on PCMC Foundation Day

Pimpri : A proposal to organise a four-day Akhand Harinam Saptah in Pimpri-Chinchwad on the occasion of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Foundation Day has received unanimous approval. The proposal was discussed during a felicitation programme organised by the Maharashtra Warkari Mahamandal, Pimpri-Chinchwad City unit.

During the event, the organisation felicitated newly elected Mayor Ravibhau Landge, Deputy Mayor Sharmilatai Babar, Opposition Leader Bhausaheb Bhoir, and Standing Committee Chairman Abhishek Barne.

Speaking on the occasion, Maharashtra Warkari Mahamandal city president Vijy Jagtap said the four-day devotional programme would strengthen the city’s cultural and spiritual environment and help preserve the rich Warkari tradition. He appealed to devotees and citizens to participate in large numbers.

Corporator Dr. Kunda Bhise, said that while Pimpri-Chinchwad is rapidly developing, preserving cultural and spiritual traditions is equally important. She added that such religious and cultural initiatives promote unity, positivity and spiritual values in society.

Several dignitaries from social, religious and political fields attended the programme, including Tanaji Kalbhor, Vijubhau Gaikwad, Suresh Bhoir, Sanjay Bhise, Kishor Patil, Dhondiba Bhondwe and other members of the organisation.
