Devendra Tayde Appointed NCP-SP Pimpri-Chinchwad Chief

Pimpri-Chinchwad : Devendra Tayde has been appointed as the Pimpri-Chinchwad city-district president of the Nationalist Congress Party – Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP-SP).

The appointment was made with the approval of party national president Sharad Pawar and on the recommendation of Shirur Lok Sabha MP Dr Amol Kolhe. State president MLA Shashikant Shinde formally appointed Tayde to the post, party state general secretary and Pimpri-Chinchwad in-charge Sunil Mane said on Monday.

Tayde received his appointment letter from party state general secretary Ravindra Pawar at the NCP-SP headquarters in Mumbai. Mane said the party had entrusted the responsibility to Tayde, citing his organisational experience and his background as a grassroots activist committed to Sharad Pawar’s leadership and ideology.

“His appointment will give a new direction to the party organisation in Pimpri-Chinchwad and the district. Under his leadership, the organisational network will be strengthened and party workers will work more actively on various issues concerning the city,” Mane said.

He added that the decision was taken after detailed discussions with NCP-SP working president and MP Supriya Sule, state general secretary and MLA Rohit Pawar, senior leader and former minister Harshvardhan Patil, and other senior party leaders, with the objective of strengthening the party organisation in Pimpri-Chinchwad.
