Signal Pole Falls at Krishnanagar Chowk, Traffic Diverted

Pimpri-Chinchwad: Traffic movement was disrupted at Krishnanagar Chowk in the Police Lines area on Thursday after a signal pole suddenly collapsed onto the road.

As a precautionary measure, the road leading towards Akurdi was temporarily closed to traffic. Traffic is currently being managed in both directions on the available carriageway, resulting in slow movement in the area.

Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident. Soon after receiving information, Pimpri-Chinchwad police reached the spot and began taking measures to regulate traffic and prevent further inconvenience to motorists.

The collapsed signal pole is being removed by the police and the concerned authorities. Efforts are underway to clear the road and restore normal traffic movement at the earliest.

Motorists travelling through Krishnanagar Chowk and towards Akurdi have been advised to drive carefully and follow traffic directions until the route is fully restored.
