{"id":3929,"date":"2026-11-03T15:11:06","date_gmt":"2026-11-03T09:41:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theleadernews.in\/?p=3929"},"modified":"2026-11-03T15:11:06","modified_gmt":"2026-11-03T09:41:06","slug":"pcmc-neglects-death-anniversary-of-former-minister-ramkrishna-more-alleges-congress","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theleadernews.in\/?p=3929","title":{"rendered":"PCMC Neglects Death Anniversary of Former Minister Ramkrishna More, Alleges Congress"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>City Congress chief Narendra Bansode protests omission; demands action against responsible officials<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PIMPRI-CHINCHWAD :<\/strong> The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has come under criticism for allegedly failing to pay tribute to former minister and senior leader Professor Ramkrishna More on his death anniversary on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">City Congress president Narendra Bansode strongly condemned the civic administration, alleging that no floral tribute was offered near the PCMC headquarters or at the portrait of More inside the Ramkrishna More Auditorium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the alleged lapse, Bansode submitted a letter to Municipal Commissioner Dr. Vijay Suryawanshi, demanding an explanation from the concerned officials and appropriate administrative action against those responsible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his letter, Bansode highlighted More&#8217;s significant contribution to the development of Pimpri-Chinchwad, particularly in the fields of education, social welfare and culture.
