Her timely actions reportedly helped save the lives of around 60 to 70 residents trapped inside the building.

BJP MLC Amit Gorkhe has demanded that the state government recognise Aarya’s bravery and honour her with an official bravery award for her courageous efforts. According to the details shared by MLC Amit Gorkhe, the fire broke out in the building’s parking area at around 2 am. The blaze destroyed 17 two-wheelers and four four-wheelers, while thick smoke and flames created panic among residents who were asleep at the time.

Jumped from First-Floor Balcony Despite Risk of Injury

When Aarya found that she could not open the door of her house, she immediately contacted the fire brigade. Realising the seriousness of the situation, she jumped directly from the first-floor balcony to reach the ground. She sustained an injury to her leg in the process. Despite the injury, Aarya did not stop. She reportedly rushed through the building, woke up sleeping residents and instructed them to move towards the terrace to reach safety. She also ensured that residents had been evacuated safely, demonstrating remarkable courage and presence of mind during the emergency.

MLC Demands Official Recognition

Praising her actions, MLC Amit Gorkhe said Aarya’s courage and selflessness were a matter of pride for the entire Pimpri-Chinchwad city. “Even after sustaining an injury, Aarya ignored her own pain and worked tirelessly to alert residents and save their lives. Her extraordinary courage deserves recognition at the government level,” he said.

Gorkhe has urged the state government to take immediate note of her actions and confer an official bravery award on Aarya Kamble. Her courageous response during the fire has emerged as an inspiring example of presence of mind and concern for others during a life-threatening emergency.

20-year-old risks her life to rescue 60–70 residents during Kunal Market fire;
