An unidentified thief allegedly broke the lock and entered the room, raising questions about the security arrangements at the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to police, Pankaj Mohan Khamgal, 37, a project engineer residing in Ganesh Nagar, Thergaon, had undertaken a contract for air-conditioning and electrical renovation work at the hospital. Copper pipes, bundles of copper wires used in air-conditioning systems and other materials required for the project had been stored in a locked room on the hospital&#8217;s first floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The theft allegedly occurred between 1 pm on October 15 and 4 pm on October 23, 2026.
