The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has urged motorists to use alternative routes to avoid congestion and facilitate the speedy completion of the work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The concretisation work on the road in Ward No. 26 has been completed on both sides of the stretch from Chhatrapati Chowk to Sonigara Society, near Mankar Chowk. However, the remaining stretch between Sonigara Society and Mankar Chowk is yet to be completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to PCMC officials, vehicle movement at the worksite is obstructing construction activities, delaying the work and contributing to traffic congestion. The diversion has been planned to facilitate faster completion and minimise inconvenience to citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As per the notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Pimpri-Chinchwad, dated October 2, 2026, under reference number 5638985\/2026, traffic changes have been introduced with effect from October 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Alternative Routes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vehicles travelling from Mankar Chowk towards Chhatrapati Chowk can proceed via Kaspat\u0435 Corner Chowk to reach their destinations.
