The administration has made arrangements for personnel, transportation, distribution of election materials and secure handling of polling equipment to ensure a smooth and transparent voting process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A total of 232 polling stations have been established across Pune district, including 160 for the Graduate constituency and 72 for the Teachers\u2019 constituency. As many as 77 candidates are contesting the elections, with 47 candidates in the Graduate constituency and 30 in the Teachers\u2019 constituency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the district administration, Pune has 1,05,084 registered voters across the two constituencies. This includes 88,202 graduate voters and 16,882 teacher voters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Polling will take place from 8 am to 4 pm on Friday. Separate arrangements have been made for the distribution and collection of election materials, as well as the secure storage of voting-related materials, across Pune city and the district\u2019s various taluka areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The administration has appealed to eligible voters to reach their designated polling stations within the prescribed hours and exercise their franchise. Counting of votes is scheduled for October 27, as per the programme announced by the Election Commission of India.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>232 polling stations set up across Pune district;
