{"id":3319,"date":"2026-10-06T15:52:47","date_gmt":"2026-10-06T10:22:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theleadernews.in\/?p=3319"},"modified":"2026-10-06T15:52:49","modified_gmt":"2026-10-06T10:22:49","slug":"loudspeaker-use-restricted-for-legislative-council-election-campaigning-in-pune","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theleadernews.in\/?p=3319","title":{"rendered":"Loudspeaker Use Restricted for Legislative Council Election Campaigning in Pune"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PUNE :<\/strong> Pune District Magistrate Jitendra Dudi has imposed restrictions on the use of loudspeakers for election campaigning in view of the Maharashtra Legislative Council Graduates\u2019 and Teachers\u2019 Constituencies Biennial Election 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The restrictions have been imposed under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As per the order, individuals, organisations and political party workers will not be permitted to use loudspeakers without prior permission from the police authorities. Loudspeakers will also be prohibited before 6 am and after 10 pm, whether used on moving vehicles or at any other location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For election campaigning, loudspeakers may be used only after the vehicle or campaign activity is stationed at a designated location.
