{"id":3266,"date":"2026-10-03T19:30:49","date_gmt":"2026-10-03T14:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theleadernews.in\/?p=3266"},"modified":"2026-10-03T19:32:14","modified_gmt":"2026-10-03T14:02:14","slug":"antarnaad-brings-marathi-folk-culture-alive-in-pimpri-chinchwad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theleadernews.in\/?p=3266","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Antarnaad\u2019 Brings Marathi Folk Culture Alive in Pimpri-Chinchwad"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Marathi Language Week opens with music, folk arts and cultural performances<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PIMPRI :<\/strong> Marathi folk culture and traditions came alive through \u2018Antarnaad \u2013 A Journey to the Soul\u2019, presented at Prof. Ramkrishna More Auditorium in Chinchwad as part of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation\u2019s Classical Marathi Language Day and Week celebrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The musical-theatrical presentation travelled through Maharashtra\u2019s rich cultural traditions, featuring saint poetry, palkhi celebrations, powada, gavalan, gondhal, lavani, bharud, pingla, ringan and folk music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was organised by Morya Theatres on the opening day of the Marathi Language Week, being observed from October 3 to 9 under the guidance of PCMC Commissioner Dr. Vijay Suryawanshi and Additional Commissioner Vikrant Bagade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The celebrations also began with performances of traditional instruments including tasha, sambal and halgi.
