{"id":3183,"date":"2026-10-01T19:11:55","date_gmt":"2026-10-01T13:41:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theleadernews.in\/?p=3183"},"modified":"2026-10-01T19:11:57","modified_gmt":"2026-10-01T13:41:57","slug":"residents-march-over-water-crisis-at-swadesha-housing-society-office","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theleadernews.in\/?p=3183","title":{"rendered":"Residents March Over Water Crisis at Swadesha Housing Society Office"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Housing federation seeks separate tanks and alternative water supply from developer<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pimpri-Chinchwad:<\/strong> The Pimpri-Chinchwad Housing Society Federation led a march to the developer\u2019s office over the water shortage faced by residents of Swadesha Housing Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The federation demanded separate water tanks for each phase of the housing project and said the developer should arrange an alternative water supply until the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) provides water at full capacity. It also sought reimbursement of the expenses incurred by residents for arranging water so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The march, held under the guidance of federation president Sanjeevan Sangle, saw participation from society office-bearers, women and residents. A meeting was held with the developer after the protest, during which federation representatives also spoke to municipal officials over the phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the federation, civic officials said completion certificates would not be issued until the main water supply is made available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The federation warned of intensifying its agitation if the water issue is not resolved.
