More visited crematoriums at Dudulgaon, Dighi Gaothan, Bhosari Gaothan and Pimple Gurav as part of her fourth-day inspection drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The inspection revealed deficiencies in drinking water, sanitation, security, staff facilities and other basic amenities at several locations. At the Dudulgaon crematorium, staff were found without medical kits and drinking water facilities. Several grills were damaged and water taps were not functioning. The toilet, which was washed away in floodwaters, has not yet been repaired. The crematorium also lacks a separate cabin for staff, a protective wall and a chimney. It was also observed that used water was being discharged into the riverbed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the Dighi Gaothan crematorium, staff were found without medical kits and insurance coverage. Construction debris and overgrown grass were seen across the premises. The flooring at the cremation area was damaged, while the brickwork was also in poor condition. Toilets lacked taps and water storage tanks, causing inconvenience to citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the Bhosari Gaothan crematorium, irregular garbage collection had resulted in unhygienic conditions. There was no security guard at the entrance, while staff lacked medical kits and drinking water. The toilets were also found to be in poor condition. Corporator Rani Pathare was present during the inspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the Pimple Gurav crematorium, staff were found without medical kits and insurance coverage, while sanitation workers were reportedly not carrying out cleaning work on time. The facility lacked chimneys and garbage had accumulated on the grills. Used water was being discharged into the riverbed, while drinking water was unavailable for both staff and citizens. The protective wall had also been damaged by floodwaters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Former mayor Shakuntala Dharade, corporator Sham Jagtap and corporator Ravina Angholkar were present during the inspection.
