{"id":2456,"date":"2026-08-21T16:38:20","date_gmt":"2026-08-21T11:08:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theleadernews.in\/?p=2456"},"modified":"2026-08-21T16:38:22","modified_gmt":"2026-08-21T11:08:22","slug":"three-years-on-selected-midc-candidates-still-await-appointment-orders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theleadernews.in\/?p=2456","title":{"rendered":"Three Years On, Selected MIDC Candidates Still Await Appointment Orders"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>MIDC Direct Recruitment 2023: Assistant Draftsman candidates waiting for appointments<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mumbai \/ Pune :<\/strong> Candidates selected for the post of Assistant Draftsman under the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation\u2019s (MIDC) Direct Recruitment 2023 are still awaiting appointment orders, despite nearly three years having passed since the recruitment process began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The recruitment advertisement was issued on August 13, 2023. The examination was conducted on August 10, 2025, followed by the publication of the merit list on October 8, 2025. The final selection list was released on February 10, 2026, while document verification was completed on May 6, 2026. However, selected candidates are yet to receive their appointment orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) leader Sunil Gavhane criticised the delay and questioned the functioning of the government and the Industries Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCandidates appeared for the examination, secured positions in the merit list, were selected and even completed document verification. Why is there still such a long delay in issuing appointment orders?
