The committee approved four significant proposals aimed at strengthening the city\u2019s sports, cultural and social landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Approved Four Significant Proposals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Art Centres Across the City:<\/strong><br>Proposal cleared to establish dedicated art centres in different areas to promote painting, music, dance and theatre. These centres will support budding artists and provide a platform for local talent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Accident Insurance for Players:<\/strong><br>Players participating in municipal sports events will be covered under accident insurance. The civic body will bear the premium to ensure immediate medical support in case of injuries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Special Benefits for Women:<\/strong><br>Decision to offer concessions for women in swimming pools, gyms and other sports facilities. Focus on discounted fees, exclusive training and better access to boost participation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Department Renaming:<\/strong><br>The Sports Department will be renamed as the \u201cSports, Art, Literature, Tourism and Cultural Department\u201d to ensure integrated development and policy implementation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting also emphasized the need for a unified cultural and tourism policy by linking institutions like Pt.
