He cited the August 1, 2024 Supreme Court ruling, which permits sub-categorisation, and called for its early implementation in Maharashtra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Representatives from multiple organisations, including members of the Matang community, backed the demand, claiming that several sub-castes continue to remain underrepresented despite existing quotas.
