Pimpri :<\/strong> MLC Amit Gorkhe and Sachin Sathe, grandson of Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe have demanded that the Maharashtra government put any mega recruitment on hold until sub-categorisation of reservation for 59 most backward Scheduled Caste communities is implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The leaders said the issue has reached a Decisive stage, with several communities, including the Matang community, still deprived of the actual benefits of reservation. They asserted that sub-categorisation is essential to ensure equitable distribution of opportunities in education and employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Citing the Supreme Court\u2019s ruling, Gorkhe said the move aligns with Dr. B. R. Ambedkar\u2019s vision of inclusive justice.
