Pimpri : pimpri chinchwad milunivipal corporation’s Additional Commissioner Vijaykumar Khorate has been relieved from his duties at the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The decision has been implemented in accordance with directives issued by the Maharashtra Government\u2019s Urban Development Department, along with instructions from the General Administration Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As per a Government Resolution dated February 16, 2026, one of the Additional Commissioner posts in municipal corporations has been reserved for officers from the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). Following this policy, the General Administration Department, through its order dated April 15, 2026, has appointed Kuldeep Jangam (IAS) as the new Additional Commissioner of PCMC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Consequently, Khorate was officially relieved on the forenoon of April 16, 2026, and has been directed to report to the Urban Development Department at Mantralaya, Mumbai for further assignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PCMC Commissioner Dr. Vijay Suryawanshi confirmed that the order has come into immediate effect.
