{"id":1520,"date":"2026-03-20T13:19:25","date_gmt":"2026-03-20T07:49:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theleadernews.in\/?p=1520"},"modified":"2026-03-20T13:19:26","modified_gmt":"2026-03-20T07:49:26","slug":"pmrda-commissioner-reviews-hinjewadi-shivajinagar-metro-progress","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theleadernews.in\/?p=1520","title":{"rendered":"PMRDA Commissioner Reviews Hinjewadi\u2013Shivajinagar Metro Progress"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Pune :<\/strong> The much-awaited Metro Line 3 connecting Hinjewadi IT Park to Shivajinagar has entered its final phase, with authorities aiming to operationalise the first phase by May 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abhijit Chaudhari, Metropolitan Commissioner of Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority, conducted an on-ground inspection of the entire 23.2-km stretch on Thursday. He reviewed progress across all 23 stations and instructed officials to accelerate work without compromising on safety and quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The inspection followed a high-level meeting held a day earlier, in line with directions from Devendra Fadnavis to execute the project in \u201cmission mode.\u201d Senior officials, including Chief Engineer Rinaz Pathan and CEO Anil Kumar Saini of PITCMRL, were present during the visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officials stated that 94.2% of the project work has been completed, with signalling tests currently underway.
