PCMC Launches Citizen Survey to Shape City’s Future
Pimpri, May 11 – As the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) approaches its golden jubilee in 2032, the civic body has launched a large-scale citizen survey to gather feedback from 20,000 residents. The initiative is part of the ‘PCMC @ 50 Vision’ campaign aimed at planning the future development of the city.
The survey is being conducted through more than 250 trained women from self-help groups, under the Sakshama initiative, in collaboration with the PCMC’s Social Development Department and Tata Strive. The City Transformation Office (CTO) of the municipal corporation is also supporting the campaign.
The survey will collect opinions from residents, local businesses, and institutions across the city. Citizens can participate in person or online. To facilitate online participation, QR codes have been placed at various municipal offices and public locations across the city. By scanning the code, citizens can access and complete the survey. Additionally, the survey is available through the official PCMC website.
“The ‘PCMC @ 50 Vision’ is a vital step toward shaping the future of our city. We urge all citizens to actively participate in the survey. Please support the women from self-help groups who visit you, and ensure you give honest feedback. Your opinion matters for Pimpri-Chinchwad’s future.”
